IT FEELS GOOD TO BE FIT AND HEALTHY
Welcome to my blog. I was so tired all the time and so sick and tired of being sick and tired. On July 7th 2010 I took that first step and pressed play to one of the awesome workouts I now do on a daily basis. I work out at home on my own terms, I am accountable to myself but do have an awesome support group of others like me that keep me on track. I never thought that at age 52 I could ever be fit again but age is just a number. I am so excited and amazed at my own results and I love, love, love to share what I do with others. If you are struggling with your weight or just want to tone up, I can help you. Take that first step and contact me. I love to help people. I am always ready and willing to share what I do and get this..it's always FREE!!! Help me to help you today.

My Merry Christmas
My husband did our usual rounds this Christmas Eve, his moms in Tracy Ca, then my moms in Stockton and ended up at my Dad's for Christmas Eve dinner. I have been off track with my eating this holiday and really to be honest I really have not been trying to stay on track. I believe it's because eating healthy and clean requires some work in preparation, which means cutting and chopping even juicing which requires me to use my right arm hence irritates the shoulder and what comes with pain...discouragement. (Please refer to my previous entry "Shoulder Injury 2 months later"). Since going to my physical therapist and doing the exersizes just this week, it does seem to be getting better. What does this have to do with "My Merry Christmas"? Absolutely nothing...LOL.
So I walk into my dad's house Christmas Eve, my cousin that I have not seen since June was there and she blurts out how skinny I am in a sarcastic way. I just said "yes but I am healthy". EVERYONE in my family knows what I do, how much I love to exercise and I post what I eat on Facebook. It seems like so many people think that we (us folks that workout) miraculously wake up and are in shape. My husband had to remind me that what they don't know is how hard we work to get fit and healthy. I am not sorry that today I weigh 105lbs and I know I need to work on gaining muscle and I will as soon as my shoulder is all healed. I am so proud of myself today, I look damn good for someone in their 50's. I love you cousin, come on board and join me on my journey to now STAY fit and healthy.
